Hello, Bobby Vincench here, founder of Free Minds Thrive and creator of Free Minds Thrive Academy.
I want to share some information and updates on what’s being planned and worked on here at Free Minds Thrive Academy. As we build this new independent platform for our expanded Teen Confidence program, I want to keep prospective families in the loop so you can be prepared for the launch in early May (next month).
Please note that NONE of the written content we put out is written by A.I. This is very important to me and to the Free Minds Thrive mission, as I am a proponent of authenticity and human capability. While I never push or force ideas on my learners (ideas like this are presented as food for thought and for discussion), I do encourage learners to use their own minds for problem solving, creativity, communication, expression, and more… and keep A.I. use to a minimum (at most). Ultimately, they will choose for themselves.
Now, the updates on the program…
FIRST: What is Free Minds Thrive Academy? It’s an online, empowering, confidence-building program with monthly membership that helps teens build stronger minds and take control of their brightest future. A mix of critical and intentional thinking, personal development, personal responsibility, communication skills, life skills, philosophy, health and wellbeing, creativity and expression, entrepreneurship, and more like this.
SECOND: This new independent program is based on my 5-star rated Outschool program (click here to see my current Outschool content and reviews), only more affordable and in no way relying on Outschool’s platform. While I am happy to offer empowering education content on Outschool, and grateful for the families that work with my there, I am building my own online platform to provide even more value and more opportunities for families with teens.
THIRD: To start the teen program off in May, every week there will be one live class with a set topic (more formal lessons), two different clubs (more casual meetings), and time slots for optional private 1:1 coaching/mentoring. Beyond the launch, we are guaranteeing 8 or more live 45+ minute class/club sessions every month, 2 or more new live/prerecorded course videos every week, and 20 hours or more of 1:1 coaching/mentoring scheduling availability on most Thursdays and/or Fridays every month. Many of the live sessions will be recorded and made available for future viewing by learners (edited versions that can be enjoyed by those who were not there for each live session). *These details can change.*
FOURTH: The currently-planned schedule is Monday-Wednesday at 7:30PM EST for live meetings for those who can attend, Thursday and/or Friday time slots for scheduling optional 1:1 coaching/mentoring, and Friday uploading of any of the week’s recorded content to be accessed by learners and their families. Please note that the membership price will be affordable for many families, so that even if your teen can only make some of the live sessions any given week, the content recordings of many of those sessions (and additional content) will be well worth membership in this program. The program is designed to ensure that live attending learners, learners who show up more for the flexible premade content, and those primarily in it for 1:1 coaching and mentorship… all get value from being members. You do not have to make every live session for this program to be a valuable part of your child’s education.
FIFTH: Pricing will be a monthly membership that includes NEARLY EVERYTHING we’ll offer. No credits toward classes, no complicated tiers… just one option for “Everything, Not Including Private 1:1 Coaching/Mentoring” and a second option for “Everything, Plus Private 1:1 Coaching/Mentoring”. Exact pricing will be announced soon, but it will be an incredible “NO BRAINER” price that’s a great deal even if your teen only comes for certain live sessions and courses.
SIXTH: The week prior to launch, on Monday, 4/27 at 7:30PM EST, I will host a Zoom call for families to join live to learn about the final details, get questions answered, and sign up for your first month (to start the week after). I will send an email out with the meeting link closer to 4/27. If you can’t make the call, I will record it and share it out.
